The Mezzanine

On the Mezzanine project the brief was to create a pulled together vibrant yet relaxing look.

The vibrant scheme in the principal bedroom is cooled down by the relaxing bathroom where nature takes a leading role. The bath tub overlooking the exotic Floridian vegetation creates an oasis of serenity.

The couple’s favourite spot in the house is their reading corner. The concept draws from the request to bring in elements from three places in the world which are very close to clients’ hearts - California, Japan and Italy. The chaise longue shipped all the way from laid back California, light sculpture designed and created by a renown Japanese sculptor while the area rug’s motif draws upon the Tree of Life, same motif as Rome’s Piazza del Campidoglio designed by Michelangelo in the Renaissance period.
